Bizkit Planet

That picture above? That’s Limp Bizkit’s Fred Durst and Wes Borland, at a record store in Moscow, buying a record from the Nashville punk band Diarrhea Planet. No, I don’t have any idea why or how this happened. I do, however, know that Diarrhea Planet, whose ranks include four guitarists, are about to release a new album called I’m Rich Beyond Your Wildest Dreams, and we’ve already posted first single “Separations.” The second song we’ve heard from the album is the surging, melodic, warm-blanket comforting “Kids,” and you can hear that one below.

I’m Rich Beyond Your Wildest Dreams is out 8/20 on Infinity Cat.

  1. Had me at a band called “Diarrhea Planet” releasing a song called “Kids.”

    Lost me at Fred Durst.

  2. Still a better band name than Pity Sex.

  3. That band name gave me diarrhea. It was probably the best diarrhea I’ved had in a long time though.

  4. A very similar vibe to Fang Island. Both bands sound so goddamn happy.

  5. Wow, am I impressed with this band! Name aside, that song was a lot of fun – and if it means I have similar tastes in music as Fred Durst and Co. (as much as it pains me to say it) – so be it. Definitely will be looking out DP’s release in August.

  6. Saw em live at Blue Recipe Radio at the beginning of the year. They played this song. BRR also has a good version of Separations up.

  7. WE’RE JUST KIDS!!!!!!!!!!!
