“Black Skinhead” Will Be Kanye’s Next Single

Kanye

Up until now, Kanye West announced no singles for Yeezus, opting to introduce his new record via video projections, an SNL performance, and a New York Times interview instead. In general, West has made it very clear that he is not interested in radio promotion for this album. “With this album we ain’t drop no single to radio,” West said to the crowd at Governor’s Ball. “We ain’t got no NBA campaign, nothing like that. Shit, we ain’t even got no cover. We just made some real music.”

“Honestly at this point when I listen to radio, that ain’t where I want to be no more,” he continued. “Honestly at this point, I could give a fuck about selling a million records as long as I put out an album for the summer that y’all can rock to for all fuckin’ summer.” Of course, the record is getting a radio push anyway. According to Billboard, Def Jam has confirmed that West is prepping “Black Skinhead” as the single, with a radio edit and music video out by July 4.
