A few days after Jay-Z announced Magna Carta Holy Grail during the NBA Finals, he unleashed a tiny Twitter dispatch explaining the #NewRules of music marketing — projecting a “lead single” on buildings across the world, selling a million records before an album drops, and launching an app for a public listening session. Check out a bunch of the best ones below, including thoughts on his past retirement, his favorite cereal, and which indie artist is handling the vinyl pressing of Magna Carta.
