Deltron 3030 - Event II

When Deltron 3030 — the conceptual sci-fi nerd-rap supergroup of Del The Funky Homosapien, Dan The Automator, and DJ Kid Koala — got together 13 years ago to record their fondly remembered self-titled album, they included small guest appearances from a few people who don’t typically guest on rap albums: Damon Albarn, Sean Lennon, Crash Test Dummies frontman Brad Roberts. Deltron 3030 have finally announced plans to follow that album up with a new one called Event II; we’ve already posted the songs “Pay The Price” and “City Rising From Ashes.” And it looks like they’re pushing that guest-appearance policy way past its logical extremes. Albarn will once again contribute to the album, and the rest of the guest list is just extremely confusing. Contributors include Zack Del La Rocha, Mike Patton, the Lonely Island, former Bad Boy rapper Black Rob, Del’s fellow Hieroglyphics veteran Casual, singer-songwriter Jamie Cullum, chef David Chang, and actors Joseph Gordon-Levitt, David Cross, Amber Tamblyn, and Mary Elizabeth Winstead. Check the tracklist below.
