Never fails — we publish a new Black Market yesterday, and today, a pair of tracks drop that would have been featured PROMINENTLY in that feature had they been released any day in July prior to this one. Earlier this afternoon we were visited by some chilling, raw death metal from England’s awesome Grave Miasma, and now some mountainous, fuzzed-the-fuck-out Sabbath-y psych-doom from Richmond, VA’s Windhand. “Woodbine” is the first track to be released (and a major highlight) from the band’s second LP, the forthcoming Soma, which is an absolute beast, a strong contender for some seriously high placement on year-end lists.
