Fol Chen - "The False Alarms" video

Earlier this year, the California electronic weirdo-pop crew Fol Chen made a big leap toward accessiblility with their new album The False Alarms, the group’s first LP with new singer Sinosa Loa. They’ve also been making better videos, for “200 Words” and “I.O.U.” Now, it’s the title track’s turn. Director Keith Musil’s clip doubles as the best “light as a feather, stiff as a board” scene since The Craft, and it uses time-lapse to tell the story of what happens when the levitating girl at the slumber party just won’t come down. Check it out below.

The False Alarms is out now on Asthmatic Kitty.

  1. These guys are very underrated since they aren’t a hipster band. Just a great pop group & they sound amazing live.
