Ponytail may have been a casualty of 2011, but the band’s once-guitarist Dustin Wong has moved on in stride, releasing a slew of loop-heavy, experimental solo albums. His newest, Mediation Of Estactic Energy, is due out in September, and has yielded the latest of Wong’s hypnotic guitar-scapes: an aggressive, droning track called “The Big She.” The track is relentless, engaging, almost groovy, and so fuzzy it bites; check it out and download it below.
