Eminem - "Survival"

Eminem’s new song “Survival” debuted in a trailer for Call Of Duty: Ghosts, which means somebody got paid. With its compressed guitar-crunch and its chorus from Liz Rodrigues, it sounds like Em jumped on an Evanescence album cut and forcibly took it over. And this is definitely middle-aged Eminem — the guy who humorlessly yells about overcoming odds, not the one who used to cackle about mushroom overdoses and his Go-Go Gadget Dick. Still, Eminem is one of the few rappers on the face of the earth who you have to listen to — as in, when he’s rapping, you stop whatever you’re doing and make that concentrating-hard face. Because even at this late day, he can just rap. Listen below.

Call Of Duty: Ghosts is out 11/5. Shoot some people.

  1. Ughhhhh, I’m still waiting for the documentary on how someone went from being in consideration for the greatest rapper of all time to a complete piece of shit.

OH SHITT though CALL OF DUTTYY OMGG. How many 14-year-olds (and mentally 14-year-old twenty-somethings) are gonna lose their shit over the maximum brotato combination that is middle aged Eminem rapping for a Call of Duty promotion .

This is how i know there is no god.

  2. Sounds like the type of song that will be played along with 2012 NFL highlights in about two weeks.

That being said, Em still has mad flow.

  3. Fuck Eminem

  4. ohhhhhh this is awkward… It’s Featuring LIZ RODRIGUEZ, NOT SKYLAR GREY….

  5. Uh, get your facts straight…this isn’t Skylar Grey – it’s Liz Rodrigues
    Get things right maybe?

  6. Crazy how the editor must have gotten paid to hype the track in the description Lol … Eminem’s old stuff is good enough to give us good memories, no more please?

Cut your losses Jimmy, though I know its just pennies in the small pocket.
