The night before last, the National played on the big outdoor stage at Jimmy Kimmel Live, and one of the two songs they played was “This Is The Last Time,” a slow simmer from their new album Trouble Will Find Me. Last night, the band kept their late-night TV streak going, once again playing “This Is The Last Time,” this time on Conan. I wonder if this is the last time they’ll play “This Is The Last Time” on late-night TV. Maybe this is all a preparation for them to play “This Is The Last Time” over and over for six hours on TV. No, but this one is completely different! They’re inside instead of outside! And Matt Berninger is wearing regular glasses instead of sunglasses! “This Is The Last Time” completists can check it out below.
