M.I.A. has released a 90-second preview of track “Come Walk With Me,” a song we heard in demo form last year. Earlier this year, we reported that label reps said the album was “too positive” as a reason for release date push-backs, but with the fierce braggadocio of “Bring The Noize,” it was kind of hard to believe. Well, here’s our proof. This sparse but bright sing-songy cut is all about forgiveness and friendship. Stream the preview here.

Matangi is out 11/5 via Interscope.

  1. Almost sounds like M.I.A. covering a Kidz Bop cover of some other pop song?

  2. My first thought when the song started was “This reminds me of the Black Eyed Peas.” :( Admittedly, I was only thinking that during the intro, but still…

  3. both versions are great. the new one may be the best she’s done. majorly diggin
