Arctic Monkeys

Arctic Monkeys are a couple of weeks away from releasing their new album AM, and they’ve been nice enough to share a bunch of its songs: “Do I Wanna Know?,” “2013,” “Why’d You Only Call Me When You’re High?” The latest addition to that list bears the saucy title “Stop The World I Wanna Get Off With You,” and it’s a frisky rocker with a sidelong beat and levels of swagger that very few rock bands seem capable of producing. It’s a B-side, not an album track, and you can listen to it below.

AM is out 9/10 on Domino.

  1. Even the B sides are gold on this latest stuff. Reallllly into it. Can’t wait to see Helders fucking mashing the drums live again.

  2. money. Looking foward to the the album. Long live the heavy pop group

  3. Amazing what a great band the Monkeys are.

  4. Who the hell has been producing this beautiful thick and heavy sound? It isn’t Josh Homme, right?

  5. with the exception of you I dislike everyone in the room. Sigh <3

  6. This album should be dynamite. I can’t think of any other band right now whose discarded material is this consistently good.

  7. Here comes another song from Arctic Monkeys with a cute, edgy title and a healthy share of mediocrity.

Sorry guys, I just don’t feel it.

    • After the fact trolling is just, so, you know, sadface.

      • What exactly do you mean? I came here to hear the song and give it a chance. Unfortunately, it wasn’t good.

Then you come along and use the word “sadface” as an adjective. A big win for you, I suppose.

Now I’m back because I was curious to see if anyone replied to me. And someone did. Sellingthefuckout.

        • You just want to be listened to, hey, I get it, youre welcome, I guess, but, you know, I could be wrong, in that case, I’m sorry a B side from the upcoming album you, ultimately will hate, did not measure up, :/.
