Arctic Monkeys - AM

Brit-rock all-stars Arctic Monkeys are about a week away from releasing their new album AM, and we’ve already posted the early tracks “Do I Wanna Know?,” “Why’d You Only Call Me When You’re High?,” and “2013.” And now they’ve got another song for us: A suave, swaggering riff-rocker called “I Want It All,” which is not a Queen cover. More than any of the other AM songs we’ve heard thus far, this one carries the Queens Of The Stone Age influence that was all over the last two Arctic Monkeys albums. Listen to it below.

AM is out 9/10 on Domino.

  1. This album is really good. It feels like they’ve finally arrived at the sonic point they’ve been trying to reach for the past two records. Alex’s songwriting remains consistently stunning, and I’m glad they brought back the heat with some wild drumming and heavy riffs.
