Kim Gordon’s post-Sonic Youth drone outfit, Body/Head, will soon release their debut album, Coming Apart, and in a recent interview she and bandmate Bill Nance did to promote the record, Gordon revealed she will make an appearance on the upcoming season of Lena Dunham’s HBO vehicle Girls. If this at all sounds vaguely familiar, it’s because Gordon also made a cameo on the show Gossip Girl — “All the shows with ‘girls’!” she said in the interview — performing at and officiating a wedding. Gordon will appear on one episode of Dunham’s show, but no word on whether she will play herself or not.
