The Hold Steady have linked with SNL’s Seth Meyers and Fallon producer Mike Shoemaker to craft the theme song for the duo’s animated Hulu series The Awesomes. The show is about a gang of misfit superheroes rejected from other squads for their age or particular peccadilloes, so a band like the Hold Steady are their perfect foil.
