Last week, Kanye West sat down with BBC Radio 1’s Zane Lowe for a full hour-long interview. This is news, since Kanye almost never does interviews anymore, and he sure as hell doesn’t sit down to answer questions for that long. Anytime Kanye talks, he ends up saying amazing things like “I’m the #1 rock star on the planet,” and this is the sort of thing that rewards your attention. This week, the BBC is airing the whole interview in four parts, and we’ve already posted the first one. But now the whole 60-minute interview is up online. I haven’t listened yet because the Timberlake stream is approximately 52 years long, but you can hear it all below.
Can you imagine any non-NPR American radio station running an hour-long interview with anyone?
