Schoolboy Q is a smart and cerebral rapper, but he’s also the hardest and most direct member of the great California Black Hippy crew. And that hard/direct side of him is on full display in “Banger (MOSHPIT),” which follows the excellent single “Collared Greens” as the latest track we’ve heard from Q’s forthcoming album Oxymoron. It’s not the best rap song with the word moshpit in the title — that’d be this, obviously — but it still goes. Listen below.

Q says that he’s finished recording Oxymoron, finally, so expect it sometime soon from TDE/Interscope.
