Stanley Donwood’s artwork for Radiohead has been the best working relationship since Pink Floyd hooked up with Storm Thurgson (who passed away at the beginning of this year). His art has come to define the band, and part of the excitement of a new Radiohead release comes from the collection of art that comes with it. Donwood is currently opening a gallery show for the King Of Limbs artwork (which as divisive as the music may be, that artwork is some of their best). NME sat down and asked him to elaborate a bit on each Radiohead album cover, and how they were created. You can learn more about Donwood’s art show via the Outsiders gallery.
