Parquet Courts Tally All The Things That You Broke EP

Way back in January, the great Brooklyn-via-Texas indie rock combo Parquet Courts reissued 2012′s Light Up Gold through What’s Your Rupture?, instantly snagging a wider audience and well-deserved effusive praise for their crate-digging, canon-blasting post-punk composite. That seems like a million years ago — not because we’re sick of Parquet Courts, but because at this point Light Up Gold feels like a trusted old friend that’s always been around — so the timing is right for a new batch of songs. Fortunately, Parquet Courts (or is that Parkay Quarts?) is releasing a new EP called Tally All The Things That You Broke next week, and it’s streaming below.

Tally All The Things That You Broke is out 10/8 via What’s Your Rupture?.

  1. Even Fabrizio will do a drum fill once and a while.

  2. “He’s Seeing Paths” sounds straight off Mellow Gold and I love it.
