Swedish heavy metal band In Solitude showed up in this month’s Black Market with the epic “Pallid Hands,” one of the best tracks off their third album Sister. As Aaron Lariviere pointed out, there has been a lot of pressure on bands that sparked people’s interest in “occult heavy metal,” and we all know microgenres and third albums make a dark omen for a band with a lot of buzz. Fortunately it seems to be pretty agreed upon that Sister is the band’s best. The aforementioned “Pallid Hands” or the chugging, but atmospheric title track are pretty obvious proof, but it’s worth just taking this one in from start to finish. Stream the entire album below.
