If you’ve already heard “Substance” you know that the Dodos already sound pretty damn triumphant on it, but they’ve gone a step further in this live video by adding a string quartet. The Magik Magik Orchestra (who’ve played with Death Cab For Cutie in the past) brings an extra layer of majesty to the track, and the video just cleanly documents their performance at San Francisco’s Tiny Telephone Recording. There’s no need for dramatics here, the music does it all.
