Just in time for Halloween, Sacco’s video for “Carnival Ghost” and “Driving,” off their forthcoming debut, is delightfully spooky. The video follows a playful carnival-style Bonnie and Clyde that starts with the couple holding a family hostage while donning white-sheet ghosts and ends with them robbing a convenience store as water gun-toting clowns. The video is a lot of fun and is beautifully directed by Matt Creed, whose debut film Lily premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival earlier this year. Fun fact: the “Bonnie” in the video is played by Aine Vonnegut, Kurt Vonnegut’s niece.

Sacco is part of the same NYC-via-SoCal scene that bred Delta Spirit and We Barbarians. They’re opening for Cults on their fall North American tour, which kicked off last night. Expect a full-length debut sometime next year via Sensibility Records.
