Fredo Santana is the Chief Keef consigliere best-known as the guy with the cross tattooed on his forehead standing in the back of all those videos. But he’s a rapper, too, and his new tape Trappin Ain’t Dead is supposedly arriving any minute now. But before it arrives, he’s shared the new track “Jealous,” which is better than I’d ever expected a Fredo Santana track to be. Part of that is because of the guest verse from an on-fire Kendrick Lamar, who meshes beautifully with the rainy Chicago churn, and part of it is because of the moody impact of the track itself. Fredo acquits himself nicely, too. On first listen, this is sounding like an anthem, and you can hear it below.
