Born Ruffians - "Permanent Hesitation" video

“Permanent Hesitation,” a track from Ontario indie band Born Ruffians’ recent album Birthmarks, is a deeply twitchy song, and its video uses just-off split-screens to mirror that nervous energy. We see frontman Luke Lalonde throughout, but his image is chopped up and reassembled, like a paragraph that’s been translated back and forth in Babelfish and lost all its shape. Watch it below.
