The airy R&B singer SZA is the first non-rapper signed to TDE, the label that Kendrick Lamar and his Black Hippy buddies have made famous. And now there’s a new version of her tingling, weightless single “Ice Moon,” this time featuring her perma-freaked labelmate Ab-Soul — a great fit for the thoughful, druggy, inwardly inclined song. As TDE’s roster grows, one of the great things about it is that, thus far, you can throw any combination of its artists on a song together and it’ll almost always sound great. Listen to the remix below.
Fun fact: Nobody on TDE has released an album in 2013. I’m looking forward to that changing next year.
