Run The Jewels

Run The Jewels, the duo of Killer Mike and El-P, released their bafflingly great self-titled debut as a free download, but the thing was damn sure worth money. And now a European edition of the album, which includes a few bonus tracks, is set to come out, and that one actually will cost some money. We’ve already heard one of the bonus tracks, Dave Sitek’s remix of “Sea Legs.” But a real reason to buy the album is a full-on new Run The Jewels track called “Pew Pew Pew,” which has all the unstable intensity of the tracks that made the album. And now you can hear that song, with its mutating El-P beat and its ferocious verses and its deranged Q-Bert scratch-solo below.
