Temples - Sun Structures

The British quartet Temples won’t release their debut album Sun Structures until next week, but they’ve already been booked to a whole pile of summer festivals. Maybe that’s because this band’s sound — huge, monolithic, reaching-for-infinity psych-rock — always sounds good when you’re outside and slightly fucked up and burning in the sun. But it can also sound good when you’re sitting at your computer on a Monday afternoon. We’ve already posted the band’s single “Mesmerise,” but now you can take the whole album for a test ride at NPR.

Sun Structures is out 2/11 on Fat Possum.

  1. I didn’t really care for this. It’s just a Tame Impala rip off.
