Watch The Horrors & Thurston Moore Debut A Song At The Fly Awards

UK music mag The Fly held their inaugural awards show last night in London. The Horrors picked up a win for Outstanding Artistry and Sonic Youth’s Thurston Moore was given a Living Legend award. The two teamed up to debut a new track called “I See You,” presumably from The Horrors’ upcoming fourth full-length, which is set to be released sometime this year. The song is a pulsating jam that pushes eight minutes and sounds like the first Horrors song that could really fill a stadium. Watch the performance and take a look at the very UK-centric list of winners below.

List of award winners:
Festival Of The Year: Glastonbury
Album Of The Year: Parquet Courts – Light Up Gold
Venue Of The Year: The Leadmill, Sheffield
Song Of 2013: Arctic Monkeys – “Do I Wanna Know?”
Ones To Watch 2014: Wolf Alice
Best Live Act: Haim
Label Of The Year: Rough Trade
Outstanding Artistry Award: The Horrors
Local Hero Award: Sister Ray Records
Artist Of The Year: Foals
Living Legend Award: Thurston Moore

  1. ”sounds like the first Horrors song that could really fill a stadium.”

Easy there tiger. There’re was plenty of stadium filling songs in Skying. I look forward to hearing this one’s studio version, they played it in a few gigs already.
