Glish – “Bicycle Music” (Stereogum Premiere)

By Miles Bowe / February 26, 2014

I’ve never been to New Orleans, but I’ve heard stories about how hot and humid it can get. It’s a fitting locale for the band Glish, who have put out a few cassettes of dense shoegaze over the years. “Bicycle Music,” their newest, will be featured on an upcoming split with Vetter Kids and Young /// Savage. In just under three minutes it overloads on yearning vocals, melodic guitar screeches, and surprisingly clear bass lines that push through the haze and tie the whole track together. Listen below.
