Damon Albarn, Del The Funky Homosapien & Dan The Automator at SXSW

In his first two days at SXSW, Damon Albarn played a career-spanning set for NPR and performed two new songs on Kimmel. He was not remotely done. He did a bunch of songs from his forthcoming album Lonely Press Play at an acoustic session for the Public Radio Rocks showcase. And he ended his evening by taking part in a hallowed SXSW tradition: The FADER Fort set with lots of guest rappers! During his headlining FADER Fort set Albarn performed the Gorillaz’ “Clint Eastwood” with guest rapper Del The Funky Homosapien for the first time ever; producer Dan The Automator was also there, and Snoop Dogg came through to add a new verse. And he also did the Gorillaz’ “Feel Good, Inc.” with guests De La Soul. Watch video from that FADER Fort set and hear the acoustic sessions below.
