Watch Iggy Azalea & Charli XCX Perform "Fancy" Live For The First Time At The Woodie Awards

The effortlessly cool Charli XCX and Iggy Azalea performed their endearingly goofy collab “Fancy” live for the first time at MTVu’s Woodie Awards, which were held on Thursday during SXSW and aired on TV last night. The performance continues the Clueless-inspired schoolgirl vibe from the music video. Watch below.

Azalea’s debut studio album The New Classic is out 4/18. Charli’s premiered a new song at SXSW from her album that’s due out in the fall.

  1. All these stupid kids with there phones, kind of makes me understand why artists are banning them from shows.

    • I know. I can understand taking a few pics, but standing there the whole time video’ing with one’s phone at a live gig kinda defeats the purpose of being there imo.

  2. Charli totally nicked a bit of the melody from Hard-Fi’s Cash Machine.

    She swiped the Talk Talk It’s My Life melody (via the No Doubt cover, no doubt) for Nuclear Seasons.

    In other words, if a song was popular around 2005 and had a catchy melody, Charli might grab it.

    I don’t mind, though, the girl’s got good taste.
