The Brooklyn rap duo Underachievers has been a favorite of ours since last year when they dropped two mix tapes (which led to two Mixtapes Of The Week) and a spot on the 40 Best New Bands and the 40 Best Rap Albums Of 2013. But now in 2014 the duo will release their debut album, with the very metal title of The Cellar Door: Terminus Ut Exordium — and they’ve come out the gate sprinting with their new single, “Incandescent,” which pairs them with producer Ryan Hemsworth. The producer dropped an Album Of The Week last year that expanded his typically dreamy, floaty productions, but here he’s hitting just as hard as the rappers he’s working with.
