The War On Drugs are a band we care about so much that we ran a bajillion-word feature on them recently, and their new album Lost In The Dream is great. Last week, the band played two shows at New York’s Bowery Ballroom, and local institution NYCtaper was there to capture Wednesday night’s show, sharing it with the internet for all to hear. The guitar tone may not be quite as exquisite as what you’ll hear on Lost In The Dream, but it’s a chance to hear what happens when Adam Granduciel’s retro-rock re-imaginings become flesh and blood.
