Outside Lands 2014

The excellent Outside Lands festival is returning to San Francisco this summer, and its lineup has just been revealed via a Funny Or Die video starring Huey Lewis. At the very top of the bill is Kanye West, fresh off his new Future collab, and he’s joined by a startlingly diverse array of top-level talent: Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers; the Killers; Macklemore & Ryan Lewis; Arctic Monkeys; Tiësto; Death Cab For Cutie. How often does the serious Tom Petty fan get to attend a show with his buddy who loves Tiësto? Not as often as either of them would probably like! Those guys have not had serious bonding time since college! But now they can bro-down at Golden Gate Park from August 8 – 10. Watch the video, plus the full lineup below (with more to be announced). Cop tix here.

  1. This is such an underrated festival. Year after year, they kill it with really unique lineups and really big gets. It’s not every festival that could miss out on Outkast and be no worse off for it.

  2. I was kinda hoping it would be lame so I could save the $255 and not feel bad about it. Now I feel like I have to go…

  3. This makes me more hopeful that Kanye’s album will come out in August or September.

  4. Rad. Stoked for Tom Petty and Ray LaMontagne, especially.
