After we said goodbye to the Mars Volta last year, it really seemed like the end of Cedric Bixler Zavala and Omar Rodríguez-López’s longtime working relationship, which began with At The Drive In. But as we learned yesterday they have come back together and formed a new band by the name of Antemasque with Flea and Mars Volta drummer Dave Elitch. That announcement came with a speedy new single titled “4AM,” and now they have another one called “Hanging In The Lurch” — just over three minutes of no-frills rock. Listen to it below.
