Memory Map craft fun and bright indie pop, but have stayed off the radar in recent years. A big part of that is due to bassist Mike Bridavsky’s decision to spend time taking care of of his pet cat, a little American Hero by the name of Lil Bub. Now the band has gotten together to record another album, and have a new single titled “The Celebrated Summer,” out just in time for things to start warming up (at least here in NYC). The chorus is the perfect soundtrack for walking around on a sunny day, and you can check it out below.
