Young Thug and Gucci Mane aren’t the only populist Atlanta rap weirdos with new mixtapes out. Yesterday, Young Dro, whose gruff and frantic and color-drunk raps remain one of the greatest influences on the city’s current rap wave, released two brand-new tapes, Black Label and Purple Label. The tapes have guest appearances from Dro’s Grand Hustle labelmates like T.I. and Trae, as well as production from current Atlanta rap beatmakers like Dun Deal, FKi, and Stroud.
