In recent weeks, the Mississippi rapper/producer Big K.R.I.T. has been throwing new tracks like “New Agenda,” with Rick Ross, and “Lac Lac,” with A$AP Ferg, up online. Those songs, mean as they were, were one-offs. But now K.R.I.T. is gearing up for the release of his new album Cadillactica, and now he’s shared the first single. The self-produced “MT. Olympus” is four minutes of driven, intense, wounded pride, all delivered with pride and purpose over a beat that churns like an orchestral film score.
