The most recent episode of the BBC live-performance show Later With Jools Holland was a deeply star-studded one. The big news from the episode was that the Black Keys played their tense, new wavey single “Fever” live for the
first second time. (UPDATE: They actually played “Fever” two days prior on the Italian TV show Che Tempo Che Fa. Watch that at the bottom of the post.) They also knocked out the El Camino nugget “Gold On The Ceiling.” Meanwhile, Coldplay brought their new singles “Magic” and the Avicii-produced “A Sky Full Of Stars.” And Damon Albarn sang “Mr. Tembo,” the most buoyant song on his new album Everyday Robots. Watch all those performances below.
The Black Keys’ new album Turn Blue is out 5/13 on Nonesuch.
