Atlanta rap weirdos Young Thug and Metro Boomin have a collaborative album coming out under the name Metro Thuggin; we heard their Drake-altering head trip “The Blanguage” earlier this spring. “Every Morning,” which features both of those guys plus a verse from Skooly and additional production from TM-88, is not a part of the Metro Thuggin project, but it’s eminently likable in the same way. Thug wails his head off uncontrollably as usual, and the beat stays steady despite being built from an irregular array of pops, gurgles, and beeps. Basically, this is as wild and wonderful as you’d expect. Enjoy!
