St. Vincent Has A Signature Coffee, Too

It’s Monday morning. You know what sounds good right now? Coffee! I’m sure Annie Clark shares the sentiment. As coffee culture site Sprudge explains, Clark is a java fanatic on par with James Murphy, and like Murphy, she now has her own signature coffee. She partnered with Intelligentsia, the brand that previously teamed with Wilco and Anticon, for a St. Vincent-branded blend called Bring Me Your Mugs. It’s part of Intelligentsia’s Costa Rican Flecha Roja project, which brings together “poached pear, rosewater, and yellow plum” flavors. Clark’s statement about the collaboration:

I love coffee. I sometimes get excited at night thinking of the coffee I’ll get to drink in the morning. Coffee is reason to wake up. There are other reasons, of course. But coffee is the incentive, at the very least. I love Intelligentsia coffee. I have stood at their counter waiting for my order, like a fan waiting for a show. Eager. Expectant. So when my favorite coffee shop approached me about collaborating on a signature coffee, I was thrilled.

Apparently you can also pick up vinyl copies of St. Vincent at Intelligentsia stores, which is also where you can find the coffee until it appears on St. Vincent’s site. Bring Me Your Mugs is named after the St. Vincent song “Bring Me Your Loves,” so listen to that below.
