Jeffrey Innes has taken some time off from fronting the Canadian indie rock band Yukon Blonde to work on a new project High Ends. It finds him in a glittery, synth-heavy mode, which is evident on the swooning new track “The Weight.” No word yet on when the album he’s been working on will be coming, but this certainly makes the prospect of a full-length exciting.
