Carrie Brownstein and Hamilton Leithauser are two attractive and charming people with things in common. They’ve both been in amazing bands that sadly appear completely inactive right now (Sleater-Kinney and Wild Flag for Brownstein, the Walkmen for Leithauser). They’ve both gone on to do prominent things since (Portlandia for Brownstein, the forthcoming solo album Black Hours for Leithauser). And now they’ve recorded a podcast together. The two had a half-hour conversation for the Talkhouse, the website where musicians write about other musicians, and you can hear the recorded version of it below.
