A few months ago, during the lead up to his latest solo effort Darlings, Broken Social Scene ringleader Kevin Drew participated in CBC’s “I’ll Be Your Mirror: Canada Celebrates Lou Reed” concert. He did a cover of “What’s Good” from Lou Reed’s 1992 album Magic And Loss. What’s good about it? Well, it comes close to sounding like a Broken Social Scene song, which is good, and it still sounds like a Lou Reed song, which is also good. Experience all that goodness below.

“That’s what life’s like without you.” Great choice for a tribute.
