What a fascinating, unlikely crew of musicians to have on one track. The Swedish pop group Little Dragon released the slinky, R&B-informed album Nabuma Rubberband earlier this week, and its lead single was “Klapp Klapp,” a jittery and percussive dance tune. The Californian bass producer Nosaj Thing has remixed the track, turning it into a murky twinkle, its handclaps becoming pulses in a fog. And that remix includes a new verse from Future, whose emotive robo-R&B vocals somehow mesh perfectly with everything. Even if the grouping of artists seems counterintuitive, the track itself just breezes by. Hear it below.
