Sadie Dupuis

Independent of her work with Speedy Ortiz, Sadie Dupuis is racking up a diverse collection of cover songs. Last year, we heard her cover Ciara’s “Ride,” and recently she contributed a cover of Josie And The Pussy Cats’ “Pretend To Be Nice” to Father/Daughter’s cleverly conceived compilation of artists covering songs by fictional bands. Now she’s brought us a stripped-down version of “The Last Page,” which appeared on Knives Don’t Have Your Back, the solo album from Emily Haines of Metric and Broken Social Scene. Dupuis is joined on the track by Sam Rosenberg, frontman of the great Baltimore band Two Inch Astronaut, and more recently the solo project Mattress Financial.
