Lana Del Rey - "Brooklyn Baby" snippet

Lana Del Rey’s sophomore album Ultraviolence looms ever closer, and we have, to date, heard two of the completed songs that will appear there, “West Coast” and “Shades Of Cool.” And now, LDR has shared a 36-second preview of another, “Brooklyn Baby,” which sounds like a druggy washed-out float, maybe a bit more diffuse than most of her songs. There’s also a short trailer for the album that pairs a few seconds of the title track with flickering flames and general smouldering. Check all that out below.

Ultraviolence is out 6/13 on Polydor/Interscope.

  1. it’s damn near impossible to judge the quality of a song based on just 37 seconds of it. unless the song is only 38 seconds long.

  2. I really really cannot take her fonts.
