The early returns on Morrissey’s current tour have been inauspicious, but even if Moz doesn’t manage to make his way to your city, he is out there, and even though he might not seem like the most reliable guy right now, his new album is coming out. Confirmation of both came last night at Boston Opera House, where Moz and the band debuted new song “Kick The Bride Down The Aisle,” aided by an organ, performed beneath a stained glass window, just as it was surely intended to be experienced. Of all the tracks to debut from the forthcoming World Peace Is None Of Your Business (the title track, “Istanbul,” and “Earth Is The Loneliest Planet“), this is my favorite.
