Moody new wave balladeers Woman’s Hour initially released “Conversations,” the title track from their upcoming debut album, as an easygoing guitar groove fleshed out with synths of both brusque and pillowy varieties. Fort Romeau’s remix of the track puts a spotlight on that rhythmic guitar line, turning the song into something akin to Jamie xx transforming one of his own band’s bleary R&B-tinged pop tracks into disco-house. It’s pretty, and probably pretty good for swirling around the room all sentimental-like. Listen below.
Conversations is out 7/21 on Secretly Canadian.
