Gibbard Made In America

Budweiser partners with Jay Z for the Made In America festival, which is returning to Philadelphia for a third time this year as well as adding an L.A. edition. Apparently the Made In America brand is expanding beyond just festivals. Today Bud and Noisey began airing an online video series called Made In America that spotlights music scenes in cities around the US. First up is Seattle, where Ben Gibbard, Tacocat, La Luz, and the staff of Sub Pop sing the city’s praises. It’s all quite positive, and it makes Seattle sound fantastic. Watch the full segment, which was directed by Lance Bangs, below.

More installments of Made In America will premiere this summer leading up to the festival, including a visit to St. Louis featuring Nelly.

  1. Not sure about Mr. Gibbard these days, but anybody that shouts out Hazel and Pond has to be okay, right? And I love me some La Luz and Tacocat and Hardly Art.
