A couple of months ago, Atlanta rap visionary Young Thug joined forces with the great Atlanta rap producer Metro Boomin to form a duo called Metro Thuggin and to record “The Blanguage,” a thoroughly spaced-out and generally amazing take on Drake’s “The Language.” That was the first taste of a full-length Metro Thuggin team-up that’s supposedly on the way. And now they’ve shared another collab, a fractured and bass-heavy track called “Cash Talk,” which Metro co-produced with 808 Mafia. Just like “The Blanguage,” it sounds like Southern rap eating itself, but this one is choppier and more unstable. It bangs. Listen to it below.

Metro Thuggin is, we’re told, coming this summer.
